US Unemployment Rate Lowest Its Been Since 2000

Unemployment across USA has reached its lowest levels in this millennium. The unemployment index hovering around 3.8%, the government stats say. According to the latests report US businesses added a spectacular 233,000 jobs in May, up from 159,000 in April. Nation’s unemployment rate is at 18-year low. There is not much space to say it is not a success for the economy and the administration of Donald Trump. The tariff issue was unable spoil the picture.

Investors across the world cheered the data as it favored stocks. A limited rally occurs. The Dow Jones industrial average finished up 219 points. Other stock indexes, including Asian also grew substantially.

It seems to be that Trump knew the data before it was officially announced. He twitted a hint:

Looking forward to seeing the employment numbers at 8:30 this morning.

It should be noted that Wisconsin’s own statewide unemployment is far better than nationwide 3.8%. It stays below 3.0% second month straight.
