Victim Shot After Bullets Fired Into Northwest Side Home

The Milwaukee Police Department responded to a shooting that happened around 7:35 p.m. on May 15 in the 5800 block of N. 63rd Street.  The preliminary investigation reveals that a subject fired multiple gunshots into an occupied residence. A 21-year-old female was struck by the gunfire and received a non-fatal gunshot wound. She was treated on the scene by the Milwaukee Fire Department and conveyed to a local hospital. She is expected to survive the injury.  MPD continues to seek the suspect.
