MPD Investigating Two, Unrelated South Side Shootings

Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shootings incidents that happened in the early morning hours of June 8. The first occurred in the 1900 block of S. 5th Place around 12:15 a.m.. A 28-year-old male suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The circumstances relating to this are still under investigation.

The second shooting occurred in the 1800 block of W. Mitchell Street around 12:20 a.m.  A 53-year-old male showed up at a local hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The circumstancesbehind this incident is still under investigation.
