MPD Investigating April 3 West Side Shooting

Milwaukee Police responded to a shooting in the 2800 block of W. Highland Boulevard around 3:05 p.m. on April 3. Our preliminary investigation reveals shots were fired amongst a group of people inside a home. An adult male was hit by gunfire, left the scene, and was later found in the 1300 block of N. 33rd Street at which time he was then transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. At least one male suspect is currently in custody. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting. Our investigation is ongoing.
